620,450. Diving suits. PIRELLI SOC. PER AZIONI. Jan. 17, 1947, No. 1668. Convention date, Jan. 17, 1946. [Class 68 (ii)] A diving suit of elastically flexible waterproof sheet material has a coat portion 1 with sleeves 2, and collar 4 and cuffs 3 of highly elastic material, and a trouser portion 6 with boots 7, the two portions having a relatively close non-baggy fit, and overlapping and being interfolded 9 to provide a water-proof joint. Figs. 3 and 4 illustrate successive stages of the interfolding, the joint being further secured by a two-part belt, with an underlying reinforced rubber or like part 10 channelled at 11, and an overlying flexible cord 15 with an elastically tensioned buckle 16 which clamps the interfolding into the channel 11.
