Abstract
572,880. Casting concrete in situ. MAUNSELL, G. A. Sept. 10, 1943, No. 14914. Drawings to Specification. [Class 20 (ii)] [Also in Group XXI] A reinforced concrete structure such as a floating dock or breakwater is formed by first casting large reinforced concrete slabs horizontally and then raising them into vertical or sloping planes with the reinforcing rods left extending from the edges. The spaces between the slabs are filled by concrete poured in situ and the vertically projecting reinforcements are bent horizontally so that they project into and become embedded in a concrete floor which is then formed in situ.
