572,052. Airscrew spinners. CONSTANT SPEED AIRSCREWS, Ltd., and MARSHALL, F. G. Jan. 8, 1944, No. 386. [Class - 114] In an airscrew spinner which is detachably secured to the hub by means of two slidably engaging annular members b, c carried by the spinner and hub respectively, either the member c is coned at the receiving edge c<4>, or the member b is flared at the leading edge b<5>, and the member so formed is also provided with an annular series of transverse slits c<3> or b<4> open at, and extending from, said receiving or leading edge. A fibre ring e may be disposed between the members b, c, and a stop plate h also may be provided. Specification 557,120 is referred to.
