537,764. Saws. KNOWLSON, R. F. April 6, 1940, No. 6260. [Class 145 (ii)] [Also in Group XXII] Saws have tooth-tips 2 of tungsten carbide or like hard metal brazed into recesses 3 formed by thinning the teeth. Recesses for alternate tips are on opposite sides of the saw and the tips may either extend over the full tooth width, Fig. 1, or over slightly more than half the tooth width, Fig. 2.
