490,803. Tables. DUCATI, M. C. Oct. 12, 1937, Nos. 27756 and 27766. Convention dates, Oct. 12, 1936 and Sept. 28, 1937. [Class 52 (iii)] A table is provided with means on its sides, edges or undersurface for detachably supporting separate chairs, stools, or seats. As shown in Fig. 4, slots 6 are provided on the side 1 of the table and extending across underneath the table top are rods 4 along which are slid the stools 7. The stools may be supported upon brackets fixed beneath the table top. Fig. 7 shows a modification in which the back 8a of a chair fits in tapered slots 9 in the edge of the table; in this form the seat of the chair may also be supported by a bracket fixed to the underside of the table. Arm chairs may be carried by resilient clips fixed to the table and embracing the arms, or the arms may be of dovetail shape and slide into corresponding guides beneath the table top.
