Abstract

435,356. Picture frames &c. ZWICKER, H., 133, Eisenbahnstrasse, Leipsic, Germany. Nov. 10, 1934, Nos. 32434 and 32435. Convention dates, March 24 and May 4. [Class 11] A frame adapted to be readily secured to the wall of a showcase &c. is provided on the rear side with fixing means in the form of spikes or pins, which are interchangeably arranged. In the case of a wall composed of magnetic material, the spikes may be provided with magnetized attachment members. The frame, which may be of metal, is provided at the back along three sides with guides 4, which are formed by bendng over the sides of the frame, and serve to retain the picture. The spikes or pins 5 are secured in wood, metal, &c. bars 6, which are located in the guides 4, and are held in position by lugs 7 bent over them. To prevent the formation of shadows, the front of the frame is preferably of somewhat arched shape in cross-section.
