425,201. Making leather. GEIGY AKT.-GES., J. R., 215, Schwarzwaldallee, Basle, Switzerland. June 13, 1934, No. 17496. Convention date, June 14, 1933. [Class 76] Tanned hides are treated before dressing with a suspension of kaolin in a solution of glue ; the treatment is stated to improve the quality and fullness of the leather. After treatment the leather may be oiled as usual. The treatment may be conducted during dyeing.
