Abstract

397,287. Refuse bins. THOMPSON, H. H., DAVIES, A. E., BOX, W. E., Magnet Works, Lombard Street, Birmingham. July 6, 1932, Nos. 19081/32 and 8317/33. [Class 26.] A refuse-container, incinerator, or the like comprises a skeleton framework formed of metal bars or strips within which is a detachable basket or container formed of expanded metal, which can be readily replaced when corroded. The form shown comprises a frame formed by rings a, b connected by vertical bars c and containing a basket consisting of a cylindrical shell f and a separate circular base g, both of expanded metal. Internal flanges on the rings a, b retain the basket in position, the shell f being sprung into place.
