Roll films and cameras therefor. - To ensure the correct insertion of a roll film into a hand camera for instance as described in Specification 318,092, a toothed sector is provided to engage perforations along one edge of the film at one end. The wheel 0 is normally held against a stop T by a spring against which it is rotated into the position shown by the perforations on the film C, as this is drawn into the container B. After the film has passed, the wheel is returned by the spring. The film has a cutaway portion at the end preceding the perforations to facilitate the insertion.
