Abstract

Vibration-dampers.- Relative movement be. tween the scuttle dash forming part of the body of a vehicle and the dashboard secured to the frame is prevented by a frictional damping-device. An annular disc b is formed with flat flexible arms b<1> secured at their ends to the scuttle dash. A disc f is secured to the dashboard a<3> mounted on the vehicle frame. Relative movement between the two is checked by frictional elements d, which, together with the discs b<1> and f, are gripped between plates e, e<1> by a spring g<5>.
