Abstract
This air-conditioning device comprises: an outdoor unit which has a compressor that causes a refrigerant to circulate in a refrigerant circuit, and which has an outdoor heat exchanger in which the refrigerant flows; a plurality of heat-medium heat exchanger units which have a heat-medium heat exchanger that exchanges heat between the refrigerant and a heat medium different from the refrigerant, and which have a pump that causes the heat medium to circulate in a heat medium circuit; a plurality of indoor units having an indoor heat exchanger in which the heat medium flows and arranged in an air-conditioned space; and a relay unit that is interposed between the outdoor unit and the plurality of heat-medium heat exchanger units, that distributes refrigerant flowing in from the outdoor unit to a plurality of flow channels, and that merges refrigerant flowing in from the plurality of heat-medium heat exchanger units. The plurality of heat-medium heat exchanger units are provided such that at least one unit is provided to each air-conditioned space where at least an indoor unit is disposed, and is connected to the indoor unit disposed in the corresponding air-conditioned space. The connected indoor unit operates as a condenser when performing a heating operation and operates as an evaporator when performing a cooling operation.
