Abstract

Apparatus for making an infusion, e.g. tea or coffee, including a piston (22) and cylinder (21) and comprising a container (50) for the infusion mounted on a carrier (52) which is mounted for pivotal movement on a pivot pin (55), the pivot pin being of L-shape and another limb (79) thereof providing an axle for two pinch rollers (78) which co-operate with a drive roller (71) to draw a filter medium (70) under the container when the latter is in an inoperative position. Movements of the carrier (52) and the rollers (78) are synchronised by an L-shaped connection (80).
