Abstract

In assembling Primary and Secondary Frames together, such as a fixed rectangular frame and a glazed frame respectively, a two part mounting is provided. The parts 1, 9 of the mounting are adapted to be secured to respective frames, and more than one mounting may be provided. One mounting part 1 has a groove 3 and the other part 9 has a pin 11 which, in assembling, is adapted to be entered in a mouth 4 of the groove 3 to locate the two frames together and to guide the one frame for movement relative to the other as the pin 11 advances along the groove into a position in which the weight of one frame holds it in situ relative to the other. The groove 9 may be of hook or re-entrant shape, and one portion 7 of the groove may be inclined to provide a wedging action and/or ensure tight sealing engagement of the two frames on assembly.
