Abstract

An illuminated sign comprises a light source 2 inside a housing 1 and two or more superimposed transparent panels 3, 4 each panel bearing incised indicia 7, 8 and panel edges 9, 10 facing the light source bearing differently coloured strips 11, 12 such that the indicia are diffused with colourings corresponding to the edge colourings. One edge or more may remain colourless. <IMAGE>
