Abstract

Testing apparatus including, in combination, an array of micro- computers TG, CM supplied from a control-computer CC with simulation programmes representing variables and/or control actions respectively such that the micro-computers produce parallel digital asynchronous output signals, and at least one sensor unit SU arranged to select predetermined output signals and pass the signals to an automatic control system CIMS, said control- computer being further arranged to update said programmes in accordance with the action initiated by the automatic control system. The automatic control system may be a weapons countermeasure management system for military aircraft, the simulated variables and control actions being radiations emitted and countermeasures taken during a simulated weapons engagement sequence. <IMAGE>
