Abstract

Conveying apparatus for disc- shaped articles (8) comprises an endless belt (1) above which is arranged a pressure arrangement (13) for exerting pressure on a line of the articles (8) disposed on edge one behind the other on the belt, whereby to increase the frictional force exerted by the line of articles (8) on the belt (1) and thus to increase the feed force, exerted by the belt (1) on the line of articles (8). A control device (37) is arranged to control the operation of the pressure arrangement (13) in accordance with signals from a sheet sensor (30). <IMAGE>
