The head c is pivoted at d to the forked end of a stem k, Fig. 7, which passes longitudinally within a support e pivoted at f to a hollow handle h, the stem k being provided with a handle or button m and spring n, by which it may be secured in two positions at right-angles to each other. The guard i is pivoted to the support e. Fig. 4 shows the parts in position ready for use. By operating the button m, the blade is turned through a right-angle to facilitate cleaning. The blade and guard may be turned about the pivots f so as to be enclosed within the handle, or brought into a straight line therewith, when the blade may be turned about the pivot b at rightangles to the guard i to facilitate stropping &c.
