Oil-hole closures.- A grease - cup or lubricator a has a filling- opening in the top or side which is closed automatically by a spring cover b attached at one end to the cup. The opening is provided with two annular plates d, e having between them a flexible " hat-leather " f to receive the end c of a grease pump such as that described in Specification 140,355, [Class 102 (ii), Water &c., Raising &c.]. A spring- pressed ball valve may be fitted. If the filling- opening is in the side, the spring cover b encircles the cup.
