Abstract
157,873. Schneider et Cie. Jan. 16, 1920, [Convention date]. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Act]. Working-fluid supply.-A gas turbine A is fed by a number of nozzles B each communicating with its own combustion chamber C having a shouldered piston G located therein, actuating a piston H which compresses a charge of air through an intermediate chamber D and valves I into a third chamber E which in turn is adapted to supply the combustion chamber C with air for combustion and cooling through ports K<2>, a tubular valve L and ports K<1>. A fuel injector F is provided, and the valve L, together with the valve J, controlling the nozzle B is operated by a rotary cam M. The piston H is periodically locked against movement by a spring and bolt device which ensures the requisite rise of air pressure in the chamber C.
