Abstract

1535189 Clamps CABLE SUPPORTS Ltd 8 Oct 1976 [8 July 1975] 28748/75 Heading E2B A cable clamp has two arms 11, 12 pivoted to a base 10 and fastenable together e.g. by nut and bolt 13, 14. The arms each bear a pad 23 of, for example, nylon which clips by means of projections 25 (Fig. 4) into grooves 22 in the arms. The base 10 may also bear a similarly mounted pad. The pads have a small longitudinal motion permitted so that cables 26 may be easily clamped. The arms and base are preferably of glassfilled nylon about a steel core.
