1533451 Vibratory conveyers IMPERIAL GROUP Ltd 22 June 1977 [8 July 1976] 28414/76 Heading B8A A vibratory conveyer system includes a trough 9 mounted on upwardly divergent links 24, 25 which move between limits 24a, 24b and 25a, 25b under the action of a vibrator 28-32, the neutral centre NC of the trough 9 having no vertical motion. A wide curtain of material, such as tobacco, dropped from a device (not shown) anywhere into the trough 9 over the whole of its length is conveyed to be discharged at a central opening 13 to be immediately received by the inlet of a hopper (41), Fig. 5 (not shown). As shown a balance weight 34 is connected by links 36 from a support frame 21.
