Abstract

1524323 Rollers and cylinders ADAMOVSKE STROJIRNY NARODNI PODNIK 26 Jan 1976 [27 Jan 1975] 02880/76 Heading B6C [Also in Division F2] Metal rollers or cylinders of printing presses, e.g. offset cylinders, impression cylinders, inking or damping rollers, are coated to a thickness of from 0À05 to 0À6 mm. with chromium oxide, zirconium oxide or a mixture thereof. An intermediate layer of 80/20 nickel-chromium alloy may be provided below the surface layer. The rollers and cylinders are stated to have improved corrosion resistance to inks and chemicals used in printing.
