Abstract
1490641 Rocket combustion chambers MESSERSCHMITT-BOLKOW-BLOHM GmbH 27 March 1975 [19 April 1974] 13051/75 Headings F1J and F1L A regeneratively cooled rocket combustion chamber and thrust nozzle comprises inner and outer walls 1, 5 formed by an electro-plating process and defining cooling passages 2 therebetween, the inner wall at least being of dispersion-hardened metal, e.g. copper. The dispersoids used are specified. The walls of the coolant channels are coated with steel or aluminium or with a precious metal, e.g. gold. An intermediate layer 4 of gold or aluminium is galvanically deposited.
