Abstract

1452927 Window frames, glazing LONDON BOROUGH OF HOUNSLOW COUNCIL OF 1 Feb 1974 [3 Feb 1973] 5473/73 Headings E1J and E1R A window structure comprises two frames 1, 1' secured face to face with an intermediate spacer 2 of sound insulating material, the frames each having a peripheral recess receiving a gasket 4, 4' to support the window structure. The frames are secured together by rivets 3 of insulating material passing through the spacer 2 and flanges on the frames. The gaskets are hollow neoprene tubes which may be evacuated for fitting. The frames contain sound insulating material 5. Outer flanges on the frames carry glazing strips 6 supporting the panes 7.
