Abstract

1451683 Stackable cartons SOC NORMANDE DE CARTON ONDULE-BARREZ 17 Jan 1974 [28 March 1973] 02352/74 Heading B8P A carton, preferably of corrugated cardboard, has a base 4, and side walls 5, 6 separated into two panels 7, 9 and 17, 23 respectively by parallel fold lines 8, 22, the side walls 6 having slots 24. The carton has four thicknesses of cardboard in the walls 5 and tubular corner posts 41 providing strengthened ends for stacking, and a separately formed central partition 32 of double thickness to provide a shock absorbing feature. The inner and outer panels 7, 9 of the walls 5 enclose flaps 19, 28 extending from the panels 17, 23. Strips 27 on the panels 23 form the corner posts with flaps 16 on the panel 9. The partition 32 has two spaced walls and end flaps 37, 38 enclosed within the two thicknesses of the side walls. Ventilation holes are provided in the walls.
