Abstract

1427951 Shoe racks; connecting racks in rows LEIFHEIT INTERNATIONAL GUNTER LEIFHEIT GmbH 19 June 1973 [19 June 1972] 29080/73 Headings A4H and A4U A shoe rack comprises a pair of stiff end-plates 10 inter-connected at a spacing by bars 11, at least one face of each end-plate being provided with coupling means 14, 15 engaging the bars 11, and the edges of the end-plates 10 being provided with connecting means 18 (19) for connection to the end-plates of like further racks to connect the racks side-by-side and/or one above the other. Each bar 11 comprises telescopically adjustable sections 12, 13 and the coupling means comprise sockets 14, 15 engaged by the ends of the sections, or pins or collars engaging in or around the ends of the sections. Each end-plate 10 is rectangular and has head pieces 20 on its shorter sides, the ends of the head pieces having projections 18 at one side of the end-plate and sockets (19) at the other, and a side edge 21 of each head piece 20 having directly juxtaposed projections 18 and sockets (19), the juxtapositioning being reversed in the other head piece 20.
