1400765 Flexible shaft couplings H G SYMANN 13 July 1972 [16 July 1971] 32747/72 Heading F2U A flexible shaft coupling comprises external teeth 2a on coaxial input and output rings 1, 2, located between internal teeth 4a on a third ring, there being single piece 3 of elastomer having one part sandwiched between the teeth 2a and 4a, and another between the teeth 4a and those on the ring 1. The piece 3 may have a flange 3a to damp axial vibrations. The rings 1, 2, may have internal splines 1b, 2b.
