1378353 Stackable and nestable baskets C G PAXTON Ltd 4 April 1973 [7 March 1972] 10494/72 Heading B8P In a stackable and nestable basket having side and end walls 7, 6 which slope upwardly and outwardly from a base 5, one of the walls or a portion 9 thereof is removable to allow access to the contents of the container from the side or end. The removable wall or wall portion 9 is slidable in grooves (10, Fig. 2). The basket includes pivoted handles 11 which are movable to stacking positions overlying the top of the container, and locating ribs (12, Fig. 3) on the underside of the base which prevent relative horizontal movement between stacked containers. The basket may be formed of metal or polypropylene. The removable wall or wall portion 9 and the remainder of the basket body may be of open mesh or solid construction.
