Abstract
1375908 Regulating fluid-flow MITSUBISHI JUKOGYO K K 13 March 1972 [11 March 1971] 11532/72 Heading G3H A device, which is designed for fitting in a cylindrical pipe I and which creates a turbulent flow-velocity distribution shortly downstream thereof, Fig. 10 (not shown), comprises a plate 2 having a plurality of equal diameter, round passages 3 formed thereon, the upstream ends of the passages being tapered. The spatial separation of the passages is made such that the distance between adjacent passages increases from the centre of the plate toward the plate periphery.
