Abstract
1370630 Scraper chain conveyers GEWERKSCHAFT EISENHUTTE WESTFALIA 22 Dec 1971 [22 Dec 1970] 59738/71 Heading B8A In a scraper-chain conveyer composed of a plurality of channel sections joined end-to-end, each channel section being composed of side walls adjoined by a horizontal floor, the side walls are of sigma-shaped cross-section with planar inner faces combining with the floor to form upper and lower guide paths 23, 40, for a scraper-chain assembly 24. The planar inner faces are composed of a first inclined face 21, extending outwardly from the floor, a second inclined face 25, adjoining the face 21, and extending therefrom inwardly relatively to the conveyer and a third near-horizontal face 29 adjoining said second face. The side walls 19, 20, associated with the faces 21, define a central U-shaped groove 12. Further grooves 32, 35, make easier the hot rolling of the sections. The surfaces 38, 36, 27 and 39 flanking the grooves 12, 32 and 35 are co-planar, and thus serve for fixing attachments 13 and 14, thereto. The sides of the groove 12 are inclined at 60 degrees so as to prevent rotation of a hexagon headed bolt 18.
