1351166 Band clamps W P SCHMITT 9 Aug 1971 [11 Aug 1970] 37389/71 Heading E2B The tail 11 of a moulded plastics bundling strap has two rows of ratchet teeth 14, 15 engageable by rows of ratchet teeth 17, 16 on a slider 18 in the head portion. In the position shown in Fig. 1, the slider teeth are clear of those on the tail, but in the position shown in Fig. 2 they engage to fasten the strap. The head has enough resilience to allow the tail to be pulled through over the ratchet teeth.
