Abstract

1333625 Hand tools for bending YORKSHIRE IMPERIAL METALS Ltd 10 Feb 1972 [26 Jan 1971] 3169/71 Heading B3E A small bore tube hand bending tool comprises a body 1 having an arcuate portion 2 provided with at least one groove around the periphery of the arcuate portion, means for holding a tube tangentially to the arcuate portion, and a hand grip 4 formed with or secured to the body. In the Figure, a groove 7 continues the arcuate groove along the grip 4, and lugs 9, 9a form U-section channels 10, 10a in which the tube can be located, with a gap between them to permit successive bends to be located closer together. Two grooves for two different size tubes may run side by side along the arcuate portion 2, being continued by straight grooves separated by a common wall 8, the lug 9 then being of T-section.
