Abstract
1329657 Knitting-machines: yarn feeding K I J ROSEN 15 Dec 1971 [29 Nov 1971] 58347/71 Heading D1C A yarn feeding-storage device comprises a rotatable drum 1 and a disc 6 with radial aims for depressing the thread turns V. The drum comprises end plates 1a, b connected by bars 1c, between which the arms of the disc project. The drum is rotated on a stationary axle 2 by the machine drive 11 via a pulley 4. The disc is supported by a bearing 7 housed in an oblique slot 8 cut in the shaft 2 so that the disc is maintained in a stationary plane. Threads are guided tangentially to the drum by a guide 14 are axially displaced by the arms of the disc.
