Abstract
1,251,610. Valves. TEMPLE INSTRUMENTS Ltd. 4 June, 1970, No. 26996/70. Heading F2V. The valve is arranged for connecting an inlet 32 with an outlet 28 for supplying a pressure pulse of limited duration after which the valve automatically returns to a first position isolating the outlet. To re-operate the valve, the inlet pressure is removed and re-applied. The valve comprises a spool 21 movable between end positions in a valve body 12. The spool is sealed near its ends by seals 24, 25 and has a passage 23 which in a second position of the spool allows pressure at the other, closed end of the valve chamber to equalize after a time with the inlet pressure, the spool then being returned by a spring 20. In the returned position the outlet 28 is connected with a vent 29 through an annular recess in the spool.
