Abstract

1,224,799. Container closures. CERBO A.B. 13 Dec., 1968 [14 Dec., 1967], No. 59471/68. Heading B8T. In a container including a lid 2, both made of a flexible plastics material, a bead 7 on the lid and a groove 5 in the sidewalls 3 of the container form a snap lock. The bead 7 is omitted from one corner of the lid and/or the groove is omitted from at least one corner of the container so that a tab (9), Fig. 3 (not shown), protruding laterally at one corner of the lid, may be gripped for removing the lid. The thickness of the rim of the container sidewall increases from the top towards the groove.
