1,207,446. Papermakers felt. ALBANY FELT CO. 19 Jan., 1968 [6 Feb., 1967], No. 3037/68. Heading D1K. A papermaking fabric has at least two layers of crosswise threads 34 disposed above one another, and has additional cross wise threads 36 so reduce the permeability of the fabric to the desired value. The longitudinal threads 32 and the normal crosswise threads 34 may be polyester monofils and additional threads may be soft spun polyester staple fibre yarns.
