Abstract
1,206,483. Lamps. D. L. PRAEGER. 30 Nov., 1967, No. 54549/67. Heading F4R. [Also in Division G2] In an eye examination device, there is provided a casing 12 which supports a spring loaded rotatable arm 60 mounting at its outer end a blinking light illuminating an object 108 the arm 60 being aligned with any of slots 48, 50, 52, 54 so that the blinking light is moved into any one of the six cardinal positions of vision or into the vertical up and down positions as required. The device is fixed to the head of the ophthalmologist by a head band 14, a further blinking light being provided at 116, illuminating object 122, aligned with the optical axis of the wearer. Suitable circuitry for controlling the lighting is described.
