Abstract
1,191,800. Phenothiazine derivative. NAUCHNO-ISSLEDOVATELSKY INSTITUT FARMAKOLOGII I KHIMIOTERAPII. 10 Dec., 1968, No. 58531/68. Heading C2C. The compound is prepared by reacting 2-trifluoromethylphenothiazine with #-chloropropionyl chloride in an inert organic solvent then reacting the 10-(#- chloropropionyl) - 2 - trifluoromethyl phenothiazine with diethylamine and forming the HCI salt. Pharmaceutical compositions suitable as psychotropic agents contain the compound of the invention. The compositions may be in a form suitable for intramuscular injection.
