Abstract

1,180,077. Containers. G. B. LEWIS CO. 28 Sept., 1967 [29 Sept., 1966], No. 44296/67. Heading B8P. A container 9 adapted to stack on and to nest in a similar container has inwardly and outwardly projecting convolutions 30, 32, 60, 62 formed in opposite walls with an inwardlyprojecting convolution 60 in one wall being located opposite an outwardly-projecting convolution 30 in the other wall, the convolutions being provided with stacking means comprising a number of saddles 65 formed on the inwardlyprojecting convolutions and a number of seats 66 formed on the outwardly projecting convolutions adjacent the bottoms of the walls, the convolutions also being provided with interlocking means comprising projections 96, 98 and recesses 72, 74 on the bottom wall adapted to receive the projections.
