Abstract
1,100,819. Telecommunication cables. KABELUND METALLWERKE GUTEHOFFNUNGSHUTTE A.G. 20 Sept., 1966 [13 Oct., 1965], No. 41989/66. Heading H1A. In a cable which has polyethylene-foam insulated cores, and is provided at intervals with gas and water barriers between and surrounding the cores, the passage of moisture between each conductor and its insulation is prevented by a thin coating of plastics material adhering to the conductor and welded to the polyethylene-foam.
