Abstract

1,098,555. Fence and like posts. TREFILERIES LEON BEKAERT P.V.B.A. March 29, 1966 [March 29, 1965], No. 13927/66. Heading E1B. A tubular fence or other post of plastics, metal, or plastics-covered metal is formed at its lower end with a toothed cutting annulus 26 and one or more external threads 4 whereby it may be screwed into the ground. The teeth 26 are inclined inwardly so that the core c of soil has clearance within the post. To facilitate turning, the upper end of the post is of non- circular section, or has tommy-bar holes.
