Abstract
1,089,949. Magnetic switches. M. EHRENBERG. Feb. 1, 1966 [Feb. 2, 1965], No. 4333/66. Heading H2B. A push button switch has a permanent magnet 13 on the push-button rod 14 and when the button 16 is depressed a magnetic member 12 on a lever 6 is attracted to a position in which the lever 6 engages a stop 11 and through a coupling 8 moves a contact lever 3 away from a fixed contact 1 into engagement with a fixed contact 2. When released, the pushbutton is restored by a spring 15, adjustable by the button 16. The lever 6 and contact lever 3 are restored to the position shown by a compression spring 10 adjustable by a grub-screw 9.
