Abstract

1,088,399. Endless conveyers. ETABLISSEMENTS LEMAIRE & DILLIES. Jan. 1, 1965 [Jan. 3, 1964], No. 139/65. Heading B8A. [Also in Division D1] Slivers are transferred from one textile machine 1 to a second machine 2 by means of conveyer belts 4a arranged between them. The belts are supported by box girders 16a which have columns 15a of varying heights depending on the part of the machine from which the respective belts remove the slivers. Each belt successively passes around rolls 7a, 12a, 11a 6a and 8a and over one or more guides 9a. Supports 14a, 24a and 25a comprise sheet steel plates adjustably clamped against column 15a or girder 16a. Support 14a also carries sliver guide 38a and sliver idler roll 37. The belts are driven through belts 47 and stepped pulleys 48 from shaft 49 which in turn is driven through a speed-regulating, belt transmission system by the motor of machine 2.
