Heading F1P In a double-acting pneumatic or hydraulic motor wherein a piston 6 is slidable in a cylinder 1 closed at one end by a stepped stopper 2 having a pair of fluid connection nipples 9, 10 and at the other end by a stepped stopper 3, the stoppers 2, 3 are provided with circumferential grooves 4 into which the walls of the cylinder 1 are rolled or pressed and circumferential grooves 18 into which the walls of a tubular sheath 16 is rolled or pressed. The nipple 10 communicates with the upper end of the cylinder through an axial bore 8 in the stopper 2 and the nipple 9 communicates with the other end of the cylinder through a longitudinal channel 11 in the stopper 2, the annular space between the cylinder 1 and the tubular sheath 16, and channels 14, 15 in the stopper 3.
