Abstract

103,027. Evans, C. W., and Jacobson, J. March 24, 1916. Flowers and plants, pots and the like for growing; seed pans.-A flower-pot, seed pan, or the like of the type having a dome-shaped re-entrant base is provided with a comparative]y small central perforation e and side perforations f about the brow of the dome, the perforations f being provided with drainage gutters k to direct any water reaching the inner end of the perforations into the annular recess a at the bottom of the pot. Drainage grooves are also formed on the convex surface of the dome. Free access of air is provided for by holes h in the heel of the pot. In the modification shown in Fig. 5, the dome-shaped base is loose and fits into an annular recess formed by an upturned lip l at the base of the pot.
