Abstract

1,029,974. Electric motors. PHILIP'S ELECTRONIC & ASSOCIATED INDUSTRIES Ltd. Feb. 12, 1965 [Feb. 15, 1964], No. 6192/65. Heading H2A. A clock-type synchronous electric motor has end plates 2, 4 and a central plate 1 spaced by a circular housing thus providing two coil spaces on either side of the central plate. The end plates have bent-out stator poles 18, 23, respectively, while the central plate has poles 16, 17. The assembly is secured by tabs 14 on the central plate projecting through holes 20, 22 in the other plates. The coils are in " boxes" 3 having projections 27 which prevent rotation by interlocking with projections on the central plate.
