Abstract

1,025,022. Endless conveyers. GEORGE, W. KING Ltd. March 6, 1963 [March 12, 1962], No. 9496/62. Heading B8A. A trolley for a conveyer of the kind wherein an endless driven chain is supported at spaced points along its length by means of trolleys which are designed to run on a fixed rail of I-section comprises two identical frame components 10, produced as the result of a pressing operation, juxtaposed to produce a trolley of Y-shape. Each frame component 10 is provided with a peripheral stiffening rib 11, a projectionwelded boss 17 which carries a wheel spindle 22 having a retaining grub screw (not shown) in a tapped aperture 24 and with projectionwelded rubbing strips 13. Chain link elements 25 are located and retained in cut-away regions 12, Figs. 1, 2 (not shown), between the rubbing strips 13.
