Abstract

The oil can body (1) comprises a bellows (2) enabling, during its use and after opening its stopper (5), to stretch and thus increase the internal volume of the can. DESCRIPTION
The present invention consists of a sales package intended to contain engine oil and to recover the drain oil.

The traditional sales packaging for these items is generally made up of: - a plastic container with a handle (HDPE) - a plastic stopper - a pouring system or not.

The current packaging of engine oil has the following drawbacks: - serves to contain, transport, possibly easily pour engine oil and cannot be used for any other function.

- requires the use of another packaging to collect the used oil.

The packaging according to the invention overcomes in large part all of these drawbacks. It is in fact made up of a bellows container. This bellows makes it possible to double the volume of the container after opening a stopper of large diameter located on one of the sides of this container.

The opening of this plug gives access to the interior of the container, in which the used oil will be housed. At the entrance to this opening is a gate.

This prevents any fall of the drain plug inside the container.

The virgin oil is contained in a "bag-in-box", the discharge of this oil into the engine being done through a traditional opening.

The container has a handle identical to that of current packaging.

With reference to these drawings: - The packaging consists of a container body (1) with dimensions adapted to the volume of oil to be conditioned, having a face facilitating installation on the ground.

This element can be made of HDPE or any other suitable material.

- This container body (1) comprises a bellows (2) forming an integral part of the body. This bellows can relax and retract so as to increase the initial volume of the container, any volume being adaptable.

- A handle (3) positioned on the top of the container or in any other suitable location allows the container to be transported and held.

 - This body is pierced with two openings, a small one (7) which gives access to a "bag-in-box" (Fig. 2) in flexible polyethylene or in any other suitable material, of volume adaptable to the quantity of oil to contain.

- At the entrance of the container through the large opening, a grid (6) is placed at the thread level in order to possibly collect the drain plug.

- This grid is made of a plastic material or any other suitable material.

- In order to close the wide opening, a plug (5) made of any suitable material is screwed onto the thread (4) or positioned in any other way that can ensure sealing.

- Similarly on the small opening (7), a plug (8) provides the same seal.

- Virgin oil is placed in the "bag-in-box" (Figure 2) and is poured into the engine through the small opening (7) and possibly using a pouring system.

- The drain oil finds its place in the container body (9) around the "bag-in-box" and is housed there via the large opening (4), placed under the oil tank of the car.

- The container is compact when it contains only new oil in the "bag-in-box" (

Its volume doubles by extension of the bellows (2) (Figure 3) when the air can re-enter the body of the container after opening the large opening (4/5). This volume remains the same when the drain oil takes the place reserved for him.

After the virgin oil is poured into the engine, the "bag-in-box" is empty and it is therefore possible to recompact the container, which now only contains the volume of used oil recovered.
