Abstract

The anti-dazzle system for headlights is composed of a transparent plastics coloured filter (4) fixed to the female part of a ball joint (3). The ball joint is able to slide upwards on a slide (1,2) so as to be placed in front of the luminous field of oncoming vehicles. The male part of the ball joint is fixed to the slide male part (2). Height adjustment is by a knurled knob (6) between the slide male and female parts. The slide female part is fixed on the windscreen inside the driving compartment. When not in use it is pressed against the windscreen corner upright.
