Abstract

The invention relates to a device which is fastened onto a material which can be rolled up and guided laterally by slideways, whose aim is to prevent the end of the material from emerging from its guides. It consists of a piece 1 shaped as a fold 2, of which a part 3 will serve for fastening the object to the textile 5, by means of a suitable double-face adhesive 6; and two other parts 4 which will form stop fins. These so-called "fins" are intended, on the one hand, to be inserted between the turns when the textile 5 is rolled up, closing against the textile, with re-entrant angles, and, on the other hand, to abut against the returns 9 of slideways in opposition to the wind pressure on the textile. The device according to the invention is intended particularly for preventing the exit from the guides, due to wind force, of any window (or door) screen of a dwelling, of the sun or flyscreen type.

Description

The present invention fconcerne an anti-storm assembly for mosquito net or rollable fabric, circulating vertically, guided by slides. Ie aims to prevent the exit of the textile mesh from its side rails by the pressure of the wind or other on it.

Some roll-up mosquito nets are fitted with slide retaining devices, but have some drawbacks. It is either a brush seal inside the runners, or raised parts called lids made up of small spaced buttons, tied at the ends of the textile mesh.

The device relating to the invention is an object whose effectiveness lies in the shape and in the choice of a material which stands out.

The shape of the object of the invention is given by 1 central pei at 180, followed by a zone where the 2 parts are parallel and another zone which seen from the outside is concave, and where the 2 ends deviates like the "V" of a funnel. according to the invention the ends of the "V" are intended to touch the internal faces of the slide to abut against the returns thereof, after plsce on the edges of a mosquito net.

The material relating to the invention makes use of a plastic sheet of the "Agralon" or "Terphane" type, about 200 microns thick, characterized by good stiffness and flexibility acting as a spring. According to the invnetion, the flexibility properties give the object the ability to withstand a normal and even strong wind. On the other hand. in the event of excessive pressure on the textile, the fexibility of the object will allow the textile material of the invention to exit from its slides, without risk of damage either for the textile or for the subject of the invention.

Another feature of the invention relates to the rounded cut of the aggressive ends of "V", thus facilitating the sliding of the protruding parts between the turns of the fabric formed during the winding of said fabric on its winding tube.

A second element of the invention consists in securing the object to the textile. This fixing can be carried out either by vulcanization, or by the application of a suitable glue or a suitable double-sided adhesive tape.

According to another characteristic, the storm protection device for mosquito nets or rolled up canvas comprises side rails provided with returns at incoming angles, inclined at an angle substantially corresponding to the angle of the external "V" edges of the lateral retaining elements of the canvas thus opposing its deformation more in the event of a strong push.

The device shown in Figure 3 shows in section the object of the invention inside the slide (7). The object of the invnetion is fixed to the textile (5) by means of a double-sided adhesive (6); the end of the slide (7) is necessarily provided with returns (9), either at right angles, or according to a variant with incoming angles, represented in FIG. 4 corresponding to the angle of the "V" of said object.

The device according to the invention is fixed to the lateral end of the textile (5), at the rate of 1 object every 40 cm approximately, discontinuously over the height of the textile and on each side. It takes function during a pulling of the textile towards the outside of the slide (7), by touching the internal ends of the latter by opposing a resistance greater than the pressure of the codifying winds.

In its embodiment, according to Figure 2 the object of the invention is compressible (such as a spring) by a lateral pressure exerted on the area (4), which allows a flattening of the object intended to be inserted between the spiers when the textile is wound on a tube, thus limiting the size of the winding.

The device according to the invention is applicable to all rollable textiles guided by a slide, and particularly to rollable mosquito nets or sun visors; it is intended to keep the edges of the screen inside the slides in opposition to the wind pressure.
